Germany!
I think my list is over, aha there's too many places I want to visit its not even worth counting anymore. My next place is Germany. When I first started high school I was at Gloucester High School for 2 years and during those two years I got to meet many new people. Many of these new people were ones that had come from foreign countries. They got to stay for a semester some a full year, some even to finish high school I met people from Mexico, Columbia, France, Germany, Turkey, Somalia, Iran, China etc. Becoming friends with these people definitely made a positive impact on me, and the reason for that is simply equality.. Nobody understands how its like to grow up in system other than the Canadian one (unless of course you weren't born here) and its not always easy. There's different rules, maybe culture is less strict or maybe ALOT more strict. Some are more richer countries that live an easy life, while another might be suffering to eat they're next meal. As I got to know all of them, I started to learn more and more about their countries, and the way they grew up. For instance one of my friends who came from Columbia was telling me about her home life. She had things pretty easy though, she was telling me how the parties didn't start until 1am, and her and her friends parents are all just perfectly cool with them going out drinking and partying.. on the other hand though she was also telling me about how the education sucks there, so her parents wanted her to come here. Its sad though, because she told me how her family has a good financial flow, but not every family in Columbia is financially stable, so imagine although she was able to be sent her to help her, there's loads of children stuck there without the money which make them unable to obtain a good education. Now back to my reason of equality, basically you have no reason to judge someone because you honestly have no idea what life is like half way across the world. Anyways although this doesn't have anything to do with Germany, it has to do with different countries, different lives. If I got the chance to travel there I think it would be pretty cool to check out area of which had things going on during WW2 (museums, land marks, cemeteries) and be able to witness things from my own eyes.
